Delores Kellman, Independent Guide

Delores is a retired educator who discovered the joys of birdwatching in November 2013 when she sat under the tutelage of Erika Gates in a birding class. She has been guiding for the past three years and is most familiar with the local and annual migratory birds. With over ten years of birding the island‘s hotspots, she has logged 226 species (Bahamas) on eBird. Delores is a member of the environmental NGO Earthcare, presently working to restore the mangrove forest on Water Cay. She has also labored on habitat restoration and maintenance projects.
